MINOR SPORTING INJURIES
To perform any sport to your fullest potential you must train hard, and to train hard you must stay healthy. The key to performance care is detecting asymmetries of the musculoskeletal system, and help to address them. At Back 2 Balance our goal is getting you to the top of your game, whether you are an athlete or not. We use techniques to evaluate function, improve performance, and prevent and treat certain injuries. Are your muscles and joints performing as they were intended? An impaired range of motion in the joints or muscles can greatly reduce performance and ultimately lead to injury.
Chiropractic and osteopathy offers a balanced approach to the treatment and the healing of sports injuries. By using the adjustment to return spinal segments to their normal mobility and by using physical therapy to help the supportive tissues (muscles, tendons, & ligaments), we help the injured areas return to normal function. Afterward, better strategies for exercise and stretching will be discussed with the athlete to help them stay on the straight and narrow path to better enjoyment of their chosen sport.
