Christmas Shopping Online

 

I am proud to say that in previous years I have managed to do all my Christmas shopping online. It was the most stress free and convenient shopping experience I’ve ever had. I would highly recommend it to anyone who has back and joint problems or those who get too stressed with Christmas and the rush that ensues in the shops.

 

Top Tips for shopping online:

 

  • Be mindful about how much time you are spending in front of the screen or holding the tablet. Before you know it, you’ve spent the whole morning not moving.
  • Your body is designed to move, move, and move again. Spending 3-4 hours in one position is very detrimental to your physical body. (joint, discs and muscles)
  • Overwhelming evidence is showing that spending to much time in front of a screen is reducing nutrients to our brain.
  • Staring at a screen has shown to increase our stress levels. Not what we want especially at a pretty hectic time of year anyway!

So don’t be like the masses coming into consult with us at Back 2 Balance complaining of neck pain or back pain. Get up regularly and move and stretch little and often!
