As it’s holiday season we thought we’d come together as a team and talk about where we have recently been, any recommendation we may have or our favourite ever holiday!

My favourite type of holiday is skiing, especially in the French alps. I’m not sure I have a favourite resort…I’ve been to so many, Val Thorens, Val D’Isere, Maribel, Les Deux Alpes, Alpes D’huez, Les Arcs, La Plagne, Les Gets.

I love being outside in nature, in the mountains, fresh air, exercising, and building up an appetite to eat lots of cheese fondue!!

As some of you may know, in may I travelled to Las Vegas to compete in the Hyrox fitness championships. This was a MASSIVE thing for me, probably the biggest thing I have ever done. Not because of the competition, but because of the fact I went all on my own! It was massively out of my comfort zone, but I am so glad I went. I had such an amazing time, Las Vegas is such a cool place, if you haven’t been then you must put it on your bucket list.

In terms of how I did in the competition, it was nothing to write home about. However, for me that wasn’t the point. Just going was amazing and I'm so proud of myself for doing it. After the competition, I have 2 days to explore the city. If you go to Vegas, make sure you take a trip to downtown Vegas, that place is even crazier than the strip. Also, I saw the most incredible show called Extravaganza at the hotel called Bally’s.

One of my favourite holiday destinations is always Italy. This year, after a third attempt due to the pandemic, I got to visit Verona and Lake Garda.  The scenery travelling round the lake was beautiful, from the picturesque peninsular of Sirmione in the south, where we stayed, with its medieval castle, old town and cobbled narrow streets, to the more dramatic views of Riva in the north, with mountains rising either side and a breath-taking backdrop of the lake.

I got to enjoy lots of walks, boat trips, sunsets, pizzas, local wine and lots of Aperol of course!!

I went to CenterParks in Sherwood Forrest this July and I had an amazing time! I cycled around, played badminton, went bowling and went on the rapids at least 50 times! I have to say I needed a siesta when I got back because I was absolutely shattered.
We also fed apples to squirrels and they came inside our lodge haha (check photo). I loved being surrounded by nature and spending time outdoors. I’d definitely recommend going, it’s family and dog friendly! However make sure you bring lots of energy with you!

One of my top holidays would have the be the one I recently went on. Me and my boyfriends family (12 of us) flew out to Ancona (a tiny airport in Italy) to stay at their huge family villa in Ostra Vetere. It was amazing we were in the middle of nowhere and seemed to be the only English people in the town. Was so nice to get away from the normal busy holiday destinations and just relax all together as a group. The nearest big town was Senigallia which we visited one evening for dinner. The beach was beautiful and we watched the sunset. And of course the food in Italy is amazing!!

My holiday to Bulgaria (my home country) is around the corner. I’m excited because the summer in Bulgaria is around 35° which is perfect if you want to go to visit the seaside. ‘Sunny Beach’ resort if the perfect seaside resort. ‘Golden Sands’ resort is great if you are a party person. I personally prefer the mountain where I can clear my mind and soul listening the sound of the pure nature.

I recently moved down from Telford to Brighton so I’m still getting to know Brighton. I plan to do a lot of travelling and exploring, Brighton has been by far my favourite place so far, with so much to do around every corner.

Me and Molly (my girlfriend) started our exploration of Brighton on the i360 tower. We fell in love with visual appeal of Brighton, and the stunning ocean view that leaks into a gorgeous sunset.

Soon after we had to indulge ourselves in sea life, glow balls, the Booth Museums and many other parts of the town.

My favourite part of Brighton is, of course, the sea. We try and take our Paddleboard out as often as possible – and I love every second of it!
