Symptoms
HEADACHES

Headaches can be caused by several factors, including dehydration, eye strain and tension. Many times, dysfunction in the neck and upper back, with associated muscle tension around the neck, skull and shoulders give rise of headaches, or what we call ‘cervicogenic headaches’. Chiropractors and osteopaths are good at detecting joints, nerves and muscle imbalances in the upper body, and correcting them to help relieve headaches. We may use soft tissue techniques, manual manipulation, dry needling (medical acupuncture), home stretches and other advice to correct the underlying causes of cervicogenic headaches.
